Syntropi

Privacy Policy

Effective Date: March 26, 2026

Welcome to Syntropi ("we," "our," or "us"). We are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring you have full sovereignty over your data. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our AI-powered cognitive operating system (the "Service").

1. Information We Collect

We collect information that you directly provide to us, as well as information collected automatically:

  • Account Information: When you register, we collect your email address, password hash, and basic profile data (such as nickname or locale). If you register via Google OAuth, we collect your Google ID and associated email.
  • Cognitive & Workspace Data: We collect the documents (PDFs, URLs, text) you upload into the Omni-Input Matrix and their metadata. We also store your canvas trajectories and interactive chat logs within the "Feynman Multiverse Lab".
  • Usage Quota Data: We track your service usage (e.g., AI energy consumed, storage bytes used, active canvas nodes) to manage your Free or PRO membership tier limits.
  • Payment & Billing Information (Processed by our Reseller): We DO NOT directly collect or store your credit card numbers, billing address, or tax identification numbers. All purchases and subscriptions are handled by our Merchant of Record, Lemon Squeezy. Lemon Squeezy will collect your payment and location data to process transactions and calculate applicable global taxes (e.g., VAT/Sales Tax).

2. How We Use Your Information

We strictly use your data to operate and improve the Service:

  • To authenticate your account and secure your "Infinite Canvas" workspace.
  • To process your uploaded documents through our multi-agent AI engines to generate knowledge graphs and simulations.
  • To synchronize your PRO membership status via automated webhooks received from Lemon Squeezy.
  • No Training on Personal Data: We strictly DO NOT use your private user content, uploaded documents, or canvas data to train our foundational AI models.

3. Third-Party Data Sharing

To provide a state-of-the-art cognitive operating system, we share necessary data with trusted third-party sub-processors:

  • Large Language Models (LLMs): Your text prompts and parsed document chunks are transmitted securely via API to our LLM partners (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic) to generate insights. We utilize enterprise API agreements that prohibit these providers from using your data to train their models.
  • Lemon Squeezy (Merchant of Record): When you upgrade to a PRO membership, you will be directed to Lemon Squeezy's secure checkout. We share your account identifier (e.g., email or User UUID) with Lemon Squeezy to fulfill your order. Please refer to Lemon Squeezy's Privacy Policy for details on how they handle your financial data.

4. Data Sovereignty and Your Rights (GDPR / CCPA)

We believe in absolute data sovereignty for deep thinkers:

  • Right to Data Portability: You can use our "Export Galaxy" feature in the Command Center to download your entire knowledge graph and data in JSON/MD formats at any time.
  • Right to Deletion: You may request the permanent deletion of your account. Upon deletion, all associated documents, canvas nodes, and vector embeddings (pgvector) will be destroyed.
  • Subscription Management: Since Lemon Squeezy is the Merchant of Record, you can manage, cancel, or update your billing details directly through the Lemon Squeezy customer portal.

5. Data Security & Retention

We implement robust technical measures to secure your data. We retain your data only for as long as your account is active (is_active: true) or as needed to provide you the Service.

6. International Data Transfers

Our servers may be located outside of your home country. By using our Service, you consent to the transfer of your information to our global server locations, where it will be processed under strict security standards.

7. Children's Privacy

Our Service is designed for adult professionals. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 16.
